Are some edible items illegal to serve at restaurants? |
|
With trans fat oils being outlawed in more and more places, I am now wondering if there are other edible items that cannot be legally served? Also, out of curiosity, has anyone ever seen a defense of trans fat oils? Where is their lobby?

It's currently illegal to serve foie gras in Chicago restaurants, not for human health reasons, but to save the geese. Apparently the Chicago City council was having a slow week.
