7. Dude what I said was.... |

a quote from Kevin Drum regarding the newest Iraq polls that show only 22% of Iraqis support the US occupation of their country. Here is his quote:
"Both the American public and the Iraqi public want us to leave Iraq. However, both the American government and the Iraqi government want us to stay. So we’re staying. This is called ‘democracy promotion."
Even in the above article is says: "Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari warned earlier this week of civil war and the government's collapse if the Americans leave."
That being said this new stance by al Maliki sure is interesting. I wonder what his US masters will think about him speaking out again. He's been called on the carpet before.

weapons, and if he says we can leave, will frat boy listen, I don't think so, our thuggish regime will conveniently let him go too.
But if anyone caught PBS Newshour last nite, sounds like the Ambassador of Iraq, is either getting coached by whoever to say we need to stay for at least two more years. Very conflicting stories.

6. I think this is a very important statement |
|
When the puppet government that we installed says that we can leave then we should pay attention. I've seen polls that say that Iraqis want us out, but this is the first time I've heard anything from al-Maliki about wanting us out.
