If "Al Queida" is a criminal concept
what does that make this?

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/context.jsp?item=a86operationcyclone

According to Australian journalist John Pilger, in this year, “CIA Director William Casey his backing to a plan put forward by Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI, to recruit people from around the world to join the Afghan jihad. More than 100,000 Islamic militants trained in Pakistan between 1986 and 1992, in camps overseen by the CIA and MI6, with the SAS training future al-Qaeda and Taliban fighters in bomb-making and other black arts. Their leaders trained at a CIA camp in Virginia.” Eventually, around 35,000 Muslim radicals from 43 Islamic countries will fight with the Afghan mujaheddin. Tens of thousands more will study in the hundreds of new madrassas (Islamic schools) funded by the ISI and CIA in Pakistan. Their main logistical base is in the Pakistani city of Peshawar. Ironically, although many are trained, it seems only a small percentage actually take part fight in serious fighting in Afghanistan, so their impact on the war is small. Richard Murphy, assistant secretary of state for Near East and South Asian relations during the Reagan administration, will later say, “We did spawn a monster in Afghanistan. Once the Soviets were gone were looking around for other targets, and Osama bin Laden has settled on the United States as the source of all evil. Irony? Irony is all....

We actively recruited and trained militants, using them to further our own interests.
There was nothing 'noble' about the way we manipulated and used people to achieve our own 'ideology'.

It time for America to do some deep soul searching.

Past time.

We need a 12 step program to help us overcome our addiction to Power, Oil and Domination.

This country we have become, is nothing like the nation the founding fathers envisioned or championed.

We can't run from our own past, or live in denial forever.

But, the truth WILL set us free. Even truth that is ugly and shaming.

1. i worry more about Bu$hida, they attacked Iraq, killed 650,000 civilians an dumped a dirty bomb of

of of over 1000 tons of Uranium, it is never depleted-always toxic- have been used in "Dirty" bombs and ammunition in Iraq. Depleted Uranium is considered a Weapon of Mass Destruction, over 16% of Iraqi births have Extreme Birth Defects, and more than 11,000 soldiers from GW1 are dead and 325,000 out of 580,000 are on permanent disability,

a group of 251 soldiers from GW1 who had fathered normal babies before the war had 56% of babies born after GW1 with Extreme and or rare birth defects.. and it has all been covered up..

the Bu$h Family Mafia needs to be taken to the Hague.. except the EU doesn't have a death penalty for mass murder.

2. I agree that
* and his father- and DU (the bad kind) have done and continue to do horrible things.

I'm really trying to understand the dis-connect we have about terrorism. I made the mistake of hearing part of *'s press conference the other day when i was driving and i heard this:

First, I understand why the American people are -- you know, they're tired of the war. There is -- people are -- there is a war fatigue in America. It's affecting our psychology. I've said this before. I understand that this is an ugly war. It's a war in which an enemy will kill innocent men, women and children in order to achieve a political objective. It doesn't surprise me that there is deep concern amongst our people.

He's talking about "the enemy"- but he could just as well have been describing what WE did and are doing-

We gloss over the evils 'we' do and did, when justifying using violence and manipulation to further our 'goals'. The 'average' American, doesn't seem to grasp our culpability.

I realize i'm preaching to the choir here, but it needs to be said, and repeated, and exposed. The only way for people to wake up is for us to talk about our faults. Honestly, factually and as mature adults.

Thanks for your reply.- The damning effects of D.U. have been criminally dismissed and wrongly minimized ever since GWI. Except for those who have experienced its effects, and those who are paying attention to what 'we' are doing.

peace,
blu

5. he is separating from reality, having to keep the two realities separate also makes them more real
Edited on Sat Jul-14-07 01:53 PM by sam sarrha
and constantly in mind.. i understand my 1st wifes split from reality now, .. she became a compulsive lier then disintegrated into another person of foul ethical and moral character, took our 3 year old son and ran off with 2 hookers and drug dealer.. just like that.. destroyed EVERYTHING i owned except the clothes on my back, called my boss and got me fired, screwed my best friend and every male friend i had, except 2 who hated her.. and left. she was trying to maintain two separate realities when her parents divorced.. being viciously used by each parent to hurt the other. she finally brok from the 2 and entered a 3rd.. worse than either of the other 2

she burned every bridge in the county on her exit.. i am now curious why i missed her then..

4. wow! great link- i missed
that when you posted it initially.

I had no concept of what 'we' were involved with before * got selected.

I should have- but it wasn't ..... "urgent"... "relevant" enough to my busy life. :eyes:

I can't excuse my ignorance, or explain it. The only thing i can do now, is to pay attention and try and wake others up.

People don't like looking at un-retouched history. it strips away our 'image'.

Thanks for the link, and the information.
