I guess the charm of Kennebunkport and its occupants didn't work.

Russian President Vladimir Putin made true on earlier warnings to withdraw Russia's participation from the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) on Saturday.

President Putin signed a decree pulling Russia out of the treaty effective immediately, the Kremlin said in a statement Saturday.

While Russia's move to withdraw from the unloved CFE Treaty does not come as a complete surprise, the current timing may be seen as a strong signal towards the United States to reconsider its missile defense plans, which Russia fears are directly aimed against it.

1. Seems nothing pissed off the GOP more than the end of the Cold War and all the profits from it.
They were more than happy to take credit of the end, but they sure seem hell-bent on a restart.

Bet they will take credit for the end of the next cold war too.

They loves the spin cycles. Gives them time to launder the cash and make room for the next batch of war profiteering.

2. Has Shrub EVER done anything RIGHT?????
For God sake! Putin was invited to Kenneybunkport just a week or so ago, and AH didn't even have the professional courtesy to meet him at the airport...he sent Poppy! There wasn't much released about that visit, but the little I did hear didn't sound like Puttie and Shrub are still very friendly!

3. I begin by saying..
"FUCK bush" and maybe putin has seen how the bushits operate and knows he can't trust them any furthur than he can throw the US missle shield.

I'm not saying I trust putin but again maybe he doesn't want to be owned by bushits like the puir Iraqis are. Isn't there a pic of rummy shaking hands with sadam around here somewhere? And there's that pic of putin and bushit in the car in Kennebunkport, ME.
