4. My 75-year-old mom just keeps pressing 0 until she gets an answer!
Seems to work no matter where she calls.

9. My mom ranted about "the woman I hate who won't let me talk to anybody"
sometimes pushing 0 until you get a person won't get you anybody, just an eventual disconnect. I have to call companies and tax authorities in my job and it is a real pain in the ass trying to get through to a living speaking human. Our company has IVR as well, I hate it hate it hate it.

The more incoming calls we are receiving the more calls get routed to IVR in the hopes that the issue is relatively simple and can be handled by the auto answerer.

5. Yes!!! ===>> straight into my Bookmarks
Just a few days ago I asked the person I was speaking to about this, and checking the list, it says exactly what the person told me (at Virgin Mobile -- one of the WORST offenders of this sort of thing).
