Another effing (cheenee-ing) wingnut radio yakker. Another cheenee-ing SwiftBOTter.
Running errands at an unaccustomed hour, the car radio yielded one Lars LARSON, of whom I'd never heard. (How many of these a-hole wingnuts ARE there?) And his guest was one "Colonel" Robert "Buzz" PATTERSON. I was almost literally driving blind with rage. When I made it back, I fired off this e-mail to both of them:

Just caught a bit of your show for probably the only time, and heard your guest, Robert PATTERSON, a veteran, spout the usual, kneejerk wingnut talking points about how CLINTON ruined the military and how his pals would not serve under another CLINTON.

As a veteran myself, though surely not having attained the exalted rank of "colonel," I say:

#1, it was CLINTON's military that was the first wave of response after 9-11.

#2, The Shrub-CHEENEE mal-administration has utterly abused the military, starting with the lie of "Help is on the way." The Iraq Attack then proceeded illegally, as a war of aggression and of CHOICE, the CHOICE of a small man pursuing personal vedettas. And, not content with straining and extending tours, his appointees pursue policies of persecuting even the wounded veterans, discharging thousands on the FAKE grounds of "pre-existent psychological conditions" instead of treating and compensating their mental damage from their service.

#3, while Mr PATTERSON (he's not a Colonel as a civilian), has the right to express political views as a civilian, he does not have the right to trade off of his military past for partisan ends.

Lars Larson got his start in radio at age 16 spinning records (remember 45s?) and reading news, sports and weather (twice an hour) on KTIL from a little cinderblock building on the edge of a cow pasture in Tillamook, Oregon. Twenty-eight years later, he’s only moved 75 miles to the East (Portland) . . . and light years to the "Right.” ....

Today, Lars holds down the fort from 11am to 2pm on Radio Northwest flagship NewsRadio 750 KXL. The show can be heard on 16 radio stations all over Oregon as well as parts of Washington & Idaho and on the Internet.

Lars takes on national topics on his Westwood One show carried by more than 175 stations around the country from 7-10pm (eastern).

KXL runs his national show later at night since . . . as Lars puts it, “Even Tina can’t take seven hours of me in a row." ....

.... As the author of New York Times best sellers, Dereliction of Duty: How Bill Clinton Compromised America's National Security, and his recent release, Reckless Disregard: How Liberal Democrats Undercut Our Military, Endanger Our Soldiers, and Jeopardize Our Security, Buzz has established himself as a respected, frequently requested voice for national security and military affairs.

He is the national security columnist for the respected conservative weekly Front Page Magazine and can be seen and heard on talk shows and news events across the country. He hosts "The Buzz Cut," a weekly radio show for the RighTalk Radio Network streaming live and in replays at www.rightalk.com. His new book War Crimes: The Left's Campaign to Eliminate the Military and Lose the War on Terror debuts with Crown Forum in September of 2006.

As a career Air Force pilot seeing combat duty in far flung locales such as Grenada, Bosnia, the Persian Gulf, Somalia and Rwanda, and serving as military aide at the right hand of President Bill Clinton, he has impeccable military bona fides. As the Air Force Aide to Clinton, he carried the "Nuclear Football." ....

2. bush becomes these ratwing jokers!
junyer bush has, in a nutshell, exposed the undying hatred for the liberal democracy known as America by the neocon rightwing reactionary bush stooges and their supporters- what's marvellous is the way they have burned all their bridges regards bush and cheney etc. Bush is like the 'carrion necktie' farmers used to cure good dogs which suddenly developed a taste for chicken, and began killing them gleefully. Of all cures, the best proved to be the old trick of tying a dead chicken around the dog's neck, then left it there until it rotted free! The horrific process nearly drove the dog crazy, but....at the end it never again bothered the chickens.
The dog is the mediawhores and bush supporters. The farmer is 'we the people' under a liberal democratic leadership: the 'dog' turning into reeking waste around the rightwing's neck is junyer bush, and all that produced a junyer bush presidency...
go junyer!
