49. And lets not forget his support for civil rights, war on poverty, and
Medicare. He was a complex man who did wrong (as did everybody's hero JFK) and a lot of good too.

45. if we can criticize Laura's fashion choices
then a Kennedy-relative governor's wife should not be immune. I think the dress is OK - with the jacket - but the shoes are too disco for a funeral. Nothing wrong with plain black pumps, even if it is a Texas summer.

11. So sorry, I didn't see the other thread on Maria's funeral dress or
the photo with the jacket on. The slit up the back still would show in the rear view. The jacket isn't long enough to cover that.

I'd be more than happy to request this thread be deleted if it would please you.

42. Oh, dry up! It is not prudish to go for class. If she were mentally aware,
Maria's mother would not approve. Neither would Jackie. Appearing at Ladybird's funeral dressed in that manner did not uphold the Kennedy image.

As I said in the first post, I don't know what Maria was thinking. She looked more like a hooker than the first lady of California.

44. Did you see Lady Bird's granddaugther at the funeral?
There was a clip showing her talking about her grandmother.

Not even a jacket. Just a black dress with straps that exposed her upper chest and arms..

46. Do you mean Lucinda Robb?

She is pregnant and may have been a little too warm to wear a jacket. I agree a jacket would have been more appropriate. But at least she had no slit in her skirt to her crotch, was showing no cleavage and wasn't wearing gladiator sandals. She wasn't dressed sexy.

That's more than can be said about anything I've ever seen our current First Lady wearing. :eyes:

My taste in shoes runs more toward Birkenstocks or Mephisto, but sandals in the summer make sense.

And that is a very classic and expensive dress. She wore a jacket and it was sweltering in Texas. She chose right.Ladybird's Granddaughter wore a sleeveless sun dress and she didn't wear a jacket .But I guess she couldn't meet your definition either!

at least she looks like an expensive whore. my step-moster showed up at my great-uncle's funeral in a tiger striped blouse. poofy hair(she uses a 'fall or what ever ya call em). skin tight black leather pants on her bony ass. heels of course. just cheap ho. stuck in the 80's. wasn't much better for grandpa's. but it was colder.
luckily she doesn't like me, so i can ignore her stupid ass.

ooh, she's gonna be 60 real soon. may have to send her a torture card, sympathy.
