Iraq PM: Country can manage without U.S.

The Associated Press

BAGHDAD (AP) — Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki shrugged off U.S. doubts of his government's military and political progress on Saturday, saying Iraqi forces are capable and American troops can leave "any time they want."

Snip

But he said if necessary, Iraqi police and soldiers could fill the void left by the departure of coalition forces.

"We say in full confidence that we are able, God willing, to take the responsibility completely in running the security file if the international forces withdraw at any time they want," he said.

One of al-Maliki's close advisers, Shiite lawmaker Hassan al-Suneid, bristled over the American pressure, telling The Associated Press that "the situation looks as if it is an experiment in an American laboratory (judging) whether we succeed or fail."

2. They could probably do it. Give them a shot. Their people want us out,
big time. But if * and crew leave, guess what, they deny the meaning of it all and there will be Hell
to pay for them. So from now on, the presence, the losses, are all about * Co. self protection.

IMPEACHMENT NOW

3. Exactly. It's not about THEM. It's about US.
They are old enemies. They would probably rather deal with each other than us.
However, one has to wonder if Bush might end their longstanding hostilities towards each other...by uniting for a common cause.
The hatred of the United States.

5. ,,,and all done in OUR name with OUR money.

I'd call that fraud and deception, actionable fraud at that.

4. So, if we leave we stop mucking up the works?
Go figure...:eyes:

Of course, the neocon imperialists won't be so happy. That would break up their god damn imaginary tea party. Quite frankly, I'm ready to smash the quite real Minton over their not so imaginary heads.

7. We won't leave, they are not liberated yet from their mortal coils!
We won't stop until we bring FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY even if we have to kill every single person that doesn't want to be liberated.

8. Does that have something to do with "Freedom isn't free"...
...imagine that. A majority of the Iraqi people want us out not or real soon and the PM finally
decided to represent them by stating their will.

But freedom isn't free it's bought and paid for by Corporate America...
