1. Shades of Scooter
Is it not one of Barry Bonds' lawyers who is going to begin his sentence in September for 30 months due to an obstruction of justice? You work is really good and you might want to add this gentlemen to another comic strip with the hint of steroids floating just off in the distance.

2. yes... and he tried to invoke the Libby gambit
BALCO leaker invokes Libby commutation in plea for leniency
http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/07/11/business/NA-GEN-US-BALCO-Attorney-Libby.php

SAN FRANCISCO: An attorney who admitted leaking the confidential grand jury testimony of baseball player Barry Bonds to the media asked a federal judge for leniency, noting that President George W. Bush commuted I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby's prison sentence for a similar crime.

In doing so, Troy Ellerman joins a growing a list of defendants across America who have made the same arguments for leniency since Bush said the former vice presidential aide's 2 1/2-year sentence for leaking the name of a CIA operative was too harsh and commuted it to probation and a fine.

and I believe the judge sarcastically told him to talk to bush....

5. I'm rearranging
my toon habits to MAKE time to do them, instead of trying to find time

I'm getting a good response on the Comics Sherpa - averaging 200 hits per toon per day.. I know in the grand scheme of internet "hits" this isn't alot, but my average numbers are slowly increasing

maybe one day my partner can realize her dream of being a kept woman... lol
