I just connected the dots, the RePukes gave us Dan Quayle to prepare us for GWB. Poppy is a lot more clever than we thought. B-)

12. Quayle quotes ---eat your heart out, Dubya |
|
I got a bunch of em stashed away somewhere...One favorite was extolling the Republican virtue of family values: We believe in the bondage between a mother and her children... And something along the lines of: if I'd known when I was young, that I'd be going to Latin America , I would have studied Latin...I'll look for those quotes; it was like 4 or 5 pages of 'em, and share some more classics if I find them. ( actually I think my all time fave was from Mayor Daley Sr.: I resent the insinuendos---which really is a great word if you think about it, but at least that was the fracturing of big words; I'm guessing the other two aforementioned intellectual giants wouldn't know what insinuate OR innuendo were; not that Georgie's party isn't the master of the latter at least)
