It seems like months ago when there was the live earth concert yet is was last weekend . However the remaining time bush has in office is at a standstill with no impeachment in sight .

This week we are suddenly faced with more terror propaganda and soon the house and senate will be on vacation .

Everything seems to be racing by and I can't find anyway of slowing this down . I would prefer to fast forward this if we end up on the bright side or rewind before bush stole the office and begin with Gore as president as he should be .

I really wish I could be more optimistic and hopeful here .

Sorry , bear with my ranting , I am having a bad weekend .

1. It's Ground Hog Day again and again....
It's a recurrent nightmare from which I cannot awake.

3. Patience
I really think things are getting ready to happen. In my experience, it seems that things just sit there and sit there and you think that nothing will change and then BLAMMO! Everything changes all at once.

5.  I know , I'm waiting for something good to happen
Blammo happened Sept 11 2001 and it's been horrid ever since . I feel my patience has turned into desperation .

6. Breathe
That may sound silly, but a slow, even breath in and out can help you become calm and still random thoughts.

And for some hope (why not try it?) http://www.firethegrid.org

4. Just Spinning Around
We're all just spinning round and round -- 24 hours in a day.

And we spin around and around, too -- 365 days a year.

7. Your Premise Is In Direct Dispute With Your Analogy.
You claim time is flying by, yet you use as evidence the fact that Live Earth feels like months ago when it was only last week. Hate to break it to ya, but that's actually quite the opposite of what you stated, as it shows time seems to be standing still. You go on to call the time remaining as being at a standstill, which is also contradictory to the 'time flying by' premise. You then revert back to the claim that everything's racing by, yet continue by saying you wish you could fast forward.

My apologies, but your post didn't make much logical sense.

8.  Perhaps I have lost logic .
What I meant was this last week beginning with something positive as live earth seemed to race forward as the horrors of bush stay at the same long steady pace with no change . So to speak the good dies young .

I do wish to fast forward and get past this bush admins trauma to hopefully experience much better times or at least a sense of reality as I knew it . Or to rewind before bush so none of this was ever experienced .

I was speaking in metaphor , either that or i am delusional or insane .

I am sorry , I don't stick to the rules , or should I say , what rules .

9. I Kinda See What Ya Mean Now I Guess.
And believe me, I wish we could fast forward too. But only if when I hit play it's a democratic majority in both houses of congress and a Democratic president. That's also why I'd love to see Gore, since it would almost seem to be the only thing that could mend the two pieces of time back together, after cutting out the disgrace that was the bush presidency.

12. I'm feeling it, too
I began sinking into a deep funk after the 2004 election. Obviously, the 2000 election was bad enough, but for that many people to vote for Bush after four hellish years?????
Some days, it seems like things are finally going our way, then we are disappointed OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
I am beginning to volunteer (collecting and mailing items to our poor troops in George's never-ending war). I also plan to attend several impeachment rallies over the summer months.
If Al Gore decides to run, I will be all over that!
Hang in there, Blues 90. We WILL end this madness one day, one volunteer, one election at a time.
