France hunts prisoner after helicopter jail break

http://in.today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=worldNews&storyID=2007-07-15T230955Z_01_NOOTR_RTRMDNC_0_India-284866-1.xml&archived=False

GRASSE, France (Reuters) - French police were hunting a convicted killer on Sunday who made a daring escape from Grasse prison in southeast France with the help of four masked men and a helicopter.

The well-planned breakout late on Saturday took only five minutes and was the second time 43-year-old Pascal Payet had used a helicopter to escape from jail.

That's right, folks, he did it not once, BUT TWICE.

How do I get to be so special that masked gunmen would swoop in a helicopter and save me? That Pascal really grew up to be somebody, didn't he?

9. An understandable error: The helicopter TURNS INTO a submarine.

4. "No one could have foreseen ..."
Considering that this escape was the second such using a helicopter by the same prisoner ...

That warden must be priming his resume to come work for bushco.

8. That warden would be a prime candidate for FEMA Director, or Director of Homeland Security
You're right -- he's the kind of guy who would fit in well with this administration.

And welcome to DU! :hi:
