"Independent" voters are on the rise. They are AGAINST the "RULING PARTY".
I just posted my experience, over the weekend, being the only 'independent liberal' among Republicans.

*LOL* I WAS SURROUNDED!!!

Thing is,...they all laughed at my professed 'liberalism', and,...they listened to me, as I did to them.

WE (emphasis on "WE") concluded that there is already a third party in this country. We called it the "Ruling Party", a party neither Democratic or Republican. A Party representing no people other than "their" people. Something like,...an oligarchy party.

We also agreed that the "Ruling Party" is primarily possessed by Republicans BUT ALSO being either supported or enable by a bunch of Democrats. We all acknowledged that the "Ruling Party" favors money-grubbers over ideals or laws or democracy or us.

We discussed, at length, how our 'freedom' and 'independence' is manipulated far more than we have ever acknowledged: from the flood of commercials to the skewed news and the total bullshit proferred by those who willing to keep power by holding out false fantasies about our existence, day to day.

I was fucking SURROUNDED by life-long Republicans, this weekend. They not only tolerated the passions I've grown over the last six or so years,...they listened,...we talked,...we reached a consensus.

Now, I am more pissed off than ever about this Ruling Party that advantaged themselves by "suckering" any and every American citizen into a corner of sick emperialistic and feudal servitude. The Ruling Party HATES US because, if we ever had the chance or opportunity to be a true democracy,...those fuckers would no longer have their bottomless pit of absolute power and spoil.

However, something that comforts me HUGELY is this: I learned that the propaganda (i.e. spouting "9/11" and "family values" and "us versus them" and "freedom" and "terror" and "Christian" and "victory" and all those other psycho-manipulative key words) is not working, anymore. To the contrary, EVERYONE is saying, "bullshit"!!!

So, the 'masters of the universe' are WRONG in their belief that, the common 'minions' of humanity can be manipulated forever on religious or political demagoguery. While we grew up, they worked their asses off to get better at manipulating us,...like terrible two-year-olds intent on ruling their world.

They, the Ruling Party, are NOT two-year-olds. They are adults and have been willing to violate every basic rule of decency usually taught to every child on the face of the earth.

I use the word "hate" with great caution and,...sadness. "Hate" is a word I only speak consciously (conscience-driven) weighed and with open consideration of the human condition.

That said: I HATE THE "RULING PARTY" DIVIDING OUR NATION AND THIS WORLD.

I hate them.

I do.

3. OH!!! HELL!!! WE TALKED ABOUT TAXES, TOO!!!
THAT was one of the greatest parts of our conversation!!!!!

Here I am in the middle of nine or ten life-long Republicans and you know what pissed them off the most about taxes?

It wasn't social security.
It wasn't paying for cops.
It wasn't paying 'welfare queens'.
It wasn't paying for disabled citizens.
It wasn't about vets 'socialized medicine'.
It wasn't medicare or medicaid.

They were pissed about PROPERTY TAXES and, get this,...they managed to save just enough to be precluded from ANY BENEFIT they paid into all their lives.

All I said was, WHAT IF you happened to lose your able body by a slip, trip, sleepy driver, deer, strike of lightening, genetic disposition to cancer or diabetes or heart disease, a piece of meat caught in the back of your throat, flood, fire, job loss for no reason other than the owners aren't making enough money to buy their second and third fabulous vacation homes bigger than yours or mine.

4. Your "Ruling Class" has other names, as well.
sicksicksick_N_tired,

Good job on beginning to quantify (y)our common enemy.

If you wish to see it listed more precisely >>>

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_on_Foreign_Relations

While this is often dismissed as "conspiracy" that is not quite the correct word for it. The correct word is "consensus." That is how it is done. The outcome is preselected, and then the masses are guided towards that end.

Take a look at the membership list. Take a look at the corporate members list. These are not good people doing good things.

It is both the "top end" of R's and D's. The R and D routine is mostly circus for the masses -- whoever will be (s)elected, whether D or R will a choice of one of these.

As long as the activities of any R or D stay within the agenda, Impeachment and other such outcomes -- stay off the table.

5. Except,...the dictators were correct about the "scattered cats" thing.
Modern Democrats, the big tent, are vicious about participation,...people power.

People power is a process that takes time to melt ideas into a solution.

That process is GOOD. That process builds foundations for ourselves, our families, humanity and our world.

However, impatience is a perpetual human weakness. IOW we want life to be better, RIGHT NOW!

The Ruling Party has spent their entire lives figuring how to manipulate our impatience to their advantage.

They have succeeded. They have influenced/manipulated ANY one, without any conscience or consideration of this nation as the fledgling democratic institution REQUIRING attention and protection because,...these fuckers don't give a DAMN about democracy or those who sacrificed their lives for a state that existed ONLY IN THE INTERESTS OF ITS PEOPLE.

6. Then how to dis-empower the Ruling Party becomes the question?
If they were dealing with those millions of cats, it becomes impossible to manage us, no?

The top end manipulator looks for a token "leader" in any group, correct?

Limbaugh's ditto heads. Reich-Wing NeoCons. NRA. Democrats. All very similar in that they are all appeal to a mass identity and are easily mass manipulated. The imagined strength of the self-association is what creates the condition to be able to mass manipulate any group, no?

If one takes the association, and then the association declares the masses' actions and believes, then the association rules the individual.

The insurgent does not suffer from that mass association.

7. I always thought a "mass identity" was obvious because I assumed human beings,...

,...just want to make a life a bit better for all those around them.

I have found, in my personal experience, people DO want to "better" life, not only for their own but also for their community and, well, world.

How to DIS-EMPOWER those who HATE the thought of being a member in the common human experience?

Reveal their disgust, abuse, manipulation, disrespect of,...the rest of us. Reveal their willingness to push our buttons in order to rip us of our dignity and struggle and,...hope.
