Is it me or is the "Susie for President" a little too cutesy/creepy? |

I think it's a great ad, and they've obviously put a lot of work (and money) into their website.

7. I won't argue with that, but I'm talking about the photo itself. |

3. I'm tired of anything to do with children immediatly being labeled "creepy"... |

It's as if any mention of a child (particularly -- God forbid! -- if it includes a picture) automatically assumes an intent of pedophilia or something. To paraphrase Freud, sometimes a kid is just a kid. :eyes:

5. No, children themselves are creepy. |
|
Whenever I see a kid in an ad like this, I see a bloody knife behind her back, and know that she's just hacked the guts out of her Mommy 'cause she didn't get a Bratz doll.

But I think the millions of American children without access to healthcare IS creepy. That's why Susie is running for President. Since the grownups don't seem to give a damn.
And Bush has already said he will veto the current legislation in Congress that expands healthcare to children. Now that's creepy. And sick. And par for the course for the likes of him....

8. I hate kids being used to score political points, I don't care what the cause is. |

Little Susie needs to run along now. And the name "Susie Flynn"? SO fake, and circa 1968.

10. The picture in the ad is a bad picture of Susie. There are 2 better pix after you click for more info |
|
The ad picture makes her look sad and defeated. I thought at first that the ad was for help for neglected and abused children.
A presidential candidate need to look capable. I think the ad picture should be replaced with one of the other two pictures.
