1. Wasn't Godzilla the result of US nukes on Japan?
I seem to remember that, orginially, Godzilla was a mutant caused by America's bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and not the result of Japan's nuclear power plants.

4. Godzilla's History has changed as needed.
He would fit right in with this administration, changed his history to reflect the most recent official line....

Seriously, Godzilla in the original movie, was the result of US underwater Nuclear test (i.e. the series of Test involving Bikini Atoll starting in the late 1940s and continuing throughout the 1950s). Since the adoption of the non-proliferations treaty No above ground, aerial, in space or underwater tests have occurred since the early 1960s (Underground tests were permitted). Thus Godzilla's history had to be changed.

Side Note, starting in the 1990s there has been an unofficial ban even on underground blasts, but it is unofficial and the US has been pushing the margins on that ban.

6. I think that historians mostly agree
Godzilla is the personification of the US and the Japanese "Army" was allowed to win this one (in their cinema).

3. Here's my theory...
A bunch of Saudi Arabians slammed airplanes into our buildings and destroyed them, so we invaded Iraq.

Now God is angry at the US, so he's punishing Japan.
