8. i agree that a 14 year old is a child but

that is my culture as an american. i would say that when a girl is old enough to menstruate, and thus bear children, in some cultures, as in the natural world, she would be mature. you cannot judge another culture by your own. this has been our major problem with this war. we never made any effort to understand the culture. in fact, we have made every effort to force our culture onto the iraqis.
