This was much needed. You have my gratitude. And you have restored a bit of hope for America.
Thank you.

I'm with you. Let them stand up and yammer if they want to filibuster. No more Mr. Nice Guy.

6. I've been critical of Reid, but when thanks is deserved, it ought to be given. |
|
So, thank you Senator Reid.
I hope you are beginning to understand what is at stake here, and that this step is an indication that going forward you are going to play hardball with these crooks.
That's what they are, you know. Crooks. They've allowed Bush/Cheney to have their way with the American people far too long. It's time to put a stop to it, and make them pay for what they've done. Justice doesn't come easy.

What is this aimed at accomplishing? I'm not trying to sound snarky, I really don't know. :)
Does it obligate the senators to stay there all night to discuss Iraq?

27. As a Senator, has no say in deciding to Impeach, it's a decision to be made in the House, not Senate |
|
He's basically saying, if the House votes for Impeachment, then they'll address it. He has no say over whether the House considers it.

He said it would waste too much time and as far as he is concerned it's off the table.
I couldn't disagree more. Especially after watching Bill Moyer's Journal. Impeachment is necessary. We have to rid ourselves of King George and make sure this can never happen again.

31. So I take this to mean no more Cloture votes |
|
If they want to stop a bill they will actually have to filibuster it and that will indeed be very interesting. It certainly will make headline news and that can't be good for Republicans..
