Durbin making case for simple majority on Levin-Reed Amendment (C-SPAN2)
Compares one sleepless night in the Senate with the numerous sleepless nights US personnel and their families have to spend, calls out McConnell on transparent attempt to avoid the majority will of the Senate, cites supplemental defense spending amendments that were passed on a simple majority basis.

3. Confront the #$%^&*&^$## basta**s
I wish one just one democrat would show a heck of a lot of spine and confront the treasons snakes. How dare they uphold bush and his monstrous policies. How dare they ignore the will of the majority of the people for a few corporations that a making huge profits on the back of our military. Kick McConnell right between the legs where he will squeal like a pig. How in the world the people of Kentucky would ever support such an asshole is beyond me.

I called Senator Reid's office. I said thank you Senator Reid. It is about time the democrats in the sen tate showed some spine. It is about time we start holding the democrats responsible for their continual blocking of bills that would benefit our military. While they support the monster in the white house. This is something he should do every single solitary time that the republicans try to block a bill.

I would like to have said KICK REPUBLICAN ASS, but didn't.That this is what the public wants confront them and make he let go.

4. Ahhh...a colloquy!
Actually, this is good--because it allows a full back-and-forth about the virtues and sins of any piece of legislation brought to the fore.

I love these things!!! This is "GOOD SENATE" when there are these back-and-forths. We rarely got them when the GOP ran the joint.
