WHERE THE HELL HAVE THESE BRILLIANT MINDS BEEN???? WHERE! You would think these are new concepts...a war that should never have been...an incompetent president...abuse of our troops...an incompetent Iraqi government that we installed. I'm a reasonably intelligent person but I'm not a rocket scientist and I have been working against this war since 2003...WHERE HAVE THESE PEOPLE BEEN??? As much as I am pleased that these folks finally are getting it, it really disgusts me when I think of all the kids we have lost.

I was in a room with him at the beginning of the war, where he blasted the neocons' imperial designs and predicted the war would be a disaster. He also expressed these same opinions on television.

I hate to admit it, but I have to be truthful on this score: Matthews didn't want the war and said so. But that was the "good" Tweety. The "bad" Tweety coexists, and continues to confound us.
