2. Of course it was a private matter. There was no payment for sex so
no laws were violated.

The entire world was aghast that the Repuglicans brought impeachment against the best president America had in a century. They knew it was a private matter, something that many men do and have done for time eternal.

President Clinton should have said it was a private matter and refused to answer any and all questions.

6. I agree......
President Clinton's mistake was answering any questions. It was a private matter and had nothing to do with his ability as president. His answer to any questions should have been "no comment".

7. President Clinton was told it would be in contempt if he did
not answer the questions. Unlike the ones who refuse to answer congress's questions today...he was a democrat and the republicans hold them to different standards.

3. Bill's a Democrat though
so that made going after him and exposing his family to ridicule OK. :sarcasm:

4. He demanded Bill step down like Livingston for consensual sex
Now he gets to break the law by patronizing prostitutes and demand it remain, "a private issue."

There's no hypocrisy quite so redolent with alleged victimhood as Republican hypocrisy.

9. Mr. and Mrs. Vitter lost the "right" to demand privacy when they both
were quite vocal in their PUBLIC discussion of a private affair, Mr. Vitter calling for Clinton's resignation and Mrs. Vitter making fun of Hillary Clinton's response to her husband's infidelity.

I sure didn't hear Mrs. Vitter apologize to Mrs. Clinton for her previous PUBLIC statements, did anyone else?

10. Nope. She sure didn't. Ugly, Mrs. Vitter.
She vehemently dissed Hill and implicitly Chelsea in 1998, so her hubby could climb to power. Now the remedies for marital indiscretion she supported are allegedly moot. The price her children have to pay vs. the price Chelsea had to pay are not even in the same ballpark. Suck it up, Wendy, you hypocrite. Your hubby is a laughingstock and you are a pathetic loser.

I leave your kids out of it because I'm human.
