Colorado Governor now giving response to shooting outside his office.

Now talking about how his staff is at Denver Police Department headquarters giving information about the incident. Individuals who were touring the Capitol at the time have also been taken to DPD headquarters. They will be interviewed because the tourist office is right outside where the shooting occurred.

The tourists will have all their mental health needs taken care of.

Is also saying that he and the leadership of both parties in Colorado's State government will work together and have a conversation about the security of the building, will mandate that the building still be open to the public.

2. I used to work down the street at Human Services

We had security up the ying yang. I never would have guessed that they didn't have metal detectors in the Cap. They installed them in the Taj in Jeffco when the place was built. Sheesh.

4. I know that the Civic Center Building has very exhaustive security...

both metal detectors and x-ray machines. Of course that's because they hold trials in that building and people might come in with guns to try and break out an individual during their trial.

I don't know what to think about this. We're one of the few capitols to not have the detectors.
