Experts probe Afghan mass grave

Scientific tests are to be carried out on bodies found in a mass grave in Afghanistan to try to determine the age of the human remains.

Afghan officials announced that the grave had been discovered earlier this month.

A special commission has been to visit the site, in the desert near the capital, Kabul.

The commission says it will complete its investigation and report back to President Hamid Karzai.

The link above from 4MoronicYears has the story of our initial dealings with the surrendered talibs, so many other stories have come out of burning the bodies (a major dis for Muslims) and turning a blind eye as other atrocities take place that only one more would be kinda low in my estimate.

Of course we have probably distanced our military from the crap a little better than the Soviets troops did, as they were getting a little pissed at not being paid, and their dead soldiers dropped at the door of their parents, without notice, for them to deal with. They were taking revenge on the afghans for the failures of their own government.
