Open Letter to Senators Bill Nelson and Mel Martinez, and Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart

Sirs,

Earlier today, I watched the Michael Moore documentary, "Sicko", and I left that movie feeling shocked and appalled at the state of health care here in the United States of America. The facts and figures have been discussed with great frequency, and I won't bother to repeat them here. I am writing this letter to inform you of my demand, as a member of your constituency, that you support single-payer health care for every American, or I will be very active in helping to elect someone that will.

A copy of this letter will be mailed to your Washington and district offices, sent to my local newspaper, the Naples Daily News, and posted to Democratic Underground (http://www.democraticunderground.com), a prominent political website, and I encourage all who read this to send similar letters to your Senators and Congressmen, whether you agree or disagree with my position.
