If Jim Webb is becoming the new face of the Democratic party I think we are going to be alright |
|
I had bad first impressions of him too. I wrote off those impressions at the time due to him being so new and to actually have just won such an important senate seat in a rough race. I am glad I did.
This man is not going to take any crap from anyone. I don't care who they are. He will get right in their face while calling the Republicans on their bullshit. Don't see too much of that.
I hope we see a lot more of him on TV representing us. I like his style.

1. Well, I like to think that title belongs to Obama, frankly--but I like Webb too. |

5. He is a little more conservative than I like |

BUT, he seems to be honest and forthright. I like that. Definitely someone I can live with.

7. He's articulate and he's not one to mess with. After all he served as Reagan's Navy Secretary. |

8. My Senator that I worked my butt off for and to whom I gave.. |
|
a lot of $$$. Yes, I took a lot of flack from my Dem colleagues who thought that since he had been Reagan's Asst. Secty. of Defense, we would be in a lot of trouble from him! I am so proud of him on this Iraq war, as well as during the campaign (i.e., Maccaca, sp?)
