Franken Beats Coleman in Second Quarter Fundraising
Former comedian and current Senate candidate Al Franken continued his race towards the Democratic nomination in Minnesota by raising almost $2 million in the second quarter of 2007, out-raising incumbent Republican Senator Norm Coleman.

"We've shown that when people come together, they can be even more powerful than the special interests and corporate backing Norm Coleman," Franken spokesman Andy Barr said in a statement.

1. If Franken can whip Norm, I'd be mighty pleased.

4. I don't have much $$ but I'd send Al $10 or $20 bucks just to see him wipe out Coleman!
Can you just imagine the debates in the Senate between Al and some of the AH'S like McConnell, Stevens, Sessions, Graham...........

Al is a very smart guy, and has that rare ability to smack someone down and they don't even realize it until about an hour later!

Al is a smart guy, who CHOSE the entertainment industry, but he could have excelled in just about anything he might have tried. Coleman is a doofus:)

10. My 76 year old uncle and his wife
are voting for Franken. They despise Coleman.

Of course, they are lifelong liberals. I have many relatives in Minnesota. I am pretty sure they will vote overwhelmingly for Al. Most of them are DFL.
