When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful,
I don't know I thought this song was appropriate.

SuperTramp

When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful,
A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical.
And all the birds in the trees, well theyd be singing so happily,
Joyfully, playfully watching me.

But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible,
Logical, responsible, practical.

And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable,
When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful,

A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical.
And all the birds in the trees, well theyd be singing so happily,

Joyfully, playfully watching me.
But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible,
Logical, responsible, practical.
And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable,
Clinical, intellectual, cynical.

There are times when all the worlds asleep,
The questions run too deep
For such a simple man.

Won't you please, please tell me what weve learned
I know it sounds absurd
But please tell me who I am.

Now watch what you say or theyll be calling you a radical,
Liberal, fanatical, criminal.

Wont you sign up your name, wed like to feel youre
Acceptable, respecable, presentable, a vegtable!

At night, when all the worlds asleep,
The questions run so deep
For such a simple man.

Wont you please, please tell me what weve learned
I know it sounds absurd

But please tell me who I am.

There are times when all the worlds asleep,
The questions run too deep
For such a simple man.

Wont you please, please tell me what weve learned
I know it sounds absurd
But please tell me who I am.

Now watch what you say or theyll be calling you a radical,
Liberal, fanatical, criminal.

Wont you sign up your name, wed like to feel youre
Acceptable, respecable, presentable, a vegtable!

At night, when all the worlds asleep,
The questions run so deep
For such a simple man.
Wont you please, please tell me what weve learned
I know it sounds absurd

But please tell me who I am?

I spent almost 3 hours on disposition today

on voter fraud.

I think we can win this if we testify, and that means taking it to the street!
and no longer stay silent to justice, equality and freedom.

sorry for my music thoughts tonight.......
and thank you for replying.......tough day for me, health wise, going to court for my condo.
but I think, therefore I am.
the truth will set us free.

I threw the IChing, on the democrats, on my triP today

#43 Kwâi

requires (in him who would fulfil its meaning) the exhibition (of the culprit's guilt) in the royal court, and a sincere and earnest appeal (for sympathy and support), with a consciousness of the peril (involved in cutting off the criminal). He should (also) make announcement in his own city, and show that it will not be well to have recourse at once to arms. (In this way) there will be advantage in whatever he shall go forward to.

Ok just look at that!

What the hell rambling shit was that? LOL

Sound advice for most any times.

Oh, that's one of my favorite songs.

13. It was only 64 bit
and there is another cast
that is not so nice.
THIS IS THE ONE FOR IF WE DO LET THINGS SLIDE.

remain the same

The present is embodied in Hexagram 51 - Chen (Shock): There is an intimation of ease and development
. When the time of movement comes, the subject will be found looking out with apprehension
, yet smiling and talking cheerfully. When the movement, like a crash of thunder,
terrifies all within a hundred li, he will be like the sincere worshipper, who is not startled into
letting go his ladle and cup of sacrificial spirits.

The topmost line, divided, show its subject, amidst the startling movements
of the time, in breathless dismay and looking round him with trembling apprehension.
If he take action, there will be evil. If, while the startling movements have not reached
his own person and his neighbourhood, he were to take precautions, there would be no error,
though his relatives might still speak against him.

The situation is evolving slowly, and Yang (the active masculine force) is gaining ground.

The future is embodied in Hexagram 21 - Shih Ho (Biting Through): There will be successful progress, and it will be advantageous to use legal constraints.
The things most apparent, those above and in front, are embodied by the upper trigram Chen (Thunder), which is tansforming into Li (Fire). As part of this process, movement, initiative, and action are giving way to brightness and warmth.
The things least apparent, those below and behind, are embodied by the lower trigram Chen (Thunder), which represents movement, initiative, and action.

It is late and I am casting.

4. When I was young, and full of grace
When I was young and full of grace
and spirited--a rattlesnake.
When I was young and fever fell
My spirit, I will not tell
You're on your honor not to tell

I believe in coyotes and time as an abstract
Explain the change, the difference between
What you want and what you need, there's the key,
Your adventure for today, what do you do
Between the horns of the day?

I believe my shirt is wearing thin
And change is what I believe in

When I was young and give and take
And foolish said my fool awake
When I was young and fever fell
My spirit, I will not tell
You're on your honor, on your honor

Trust in your calling, make sure your calling's true
Think of others, the others think of you
Silly rule golden words make, practice, practice makes perfect,
Perfect is a fault, and fault lines change

I believe my humor's wearing thin
And change is what I believe in

I believe my shirt is wearing thin
And change is what I believe in

When I was young and full of grace
As spirited a rattlesnake
When I was young and fever fell
My spirit, I will not tell
You're on your honor, on your honor
I believe in example
I believe my throat hurts
Example is the checker to the key

I believe my humor's wearing thin
And I believe the poles are shifting

I believe my shirt is wearing thin
And change is what I believe in

6. Thanks man that was great......
We can do this "radical" "extremist" things to get this
planet and nation on a logical thought without violence again.

No need for a new constitution...........impeach......

call into question the integrity or validity of (a practice) :
there is no basis to Searle's motion to impeach the verdict.
• charge (the holder of a public office) with misconduct : the governor served only one year before being impeached and convicted for fiscal fraud. • Brit. charge with treason or another crime against the state.

thanks.

9. Soldiers are not the first citizens
anymore in my book and shouldn't be with any American.

I no longer support our troops except for healthcare.

UNLESS they come home to protect us.

The question of the defense of this Nation
is not in foreign lands.

7. When I Was Young E Burdon

The rooms were so much colder then
My father was a soldier then
And times were very hard
When I was young

I smoked my first cigarette at ten
And for girls, I had a bad yen
And I had quite a ball
When I was young

When I was young, it was more important
Pain more painful
Laughter much louder
Yeah, when I was young
When I was young

I met my first love at thirteen
She was brown and I was pretty green
And I learned quite a lot when I was young
When I was young

When I was young
Pain more painful
Laughter much louder
Yeah, when I was young
When I was young

My faith was so much stronger then
I believed in fellow man
And I was so much older then
When I was young
When I was young
When I was young

10. Caught in the middle, Carol, we're middle class, we're middle-aged...
Caught in the middle,
Carol, we're middle class,
we're middle aged.
We were wild in the old days,
birth of rock 'n' roll days.
Now your kids are coming up straight,
and my child's a stranger.
I bore her,
but I could not raise her.
Nothing lasts for long.
Nothing lasts for long.
Nothing lasts for long.

Down at the Chinese Cafe
we'd be dreaming on our dimes.
We'd be playing "Oh my love, my darling"
one more time...

Uranium money
is booming in the old home town now,
it's putting up sleek concrete,
tearing the old landmarks down, now.
Paving over brave little parks,
ripping off Indian land again!
How long? How long,
short-sighted businessmen?
Ah, nothing lasts for long.
Nothing lasts for long.
Nothing lasts for long.

Down at the Chinese Cafe
we'd be dreaming on our dimes.
We'd be playing "You give your love, so sweetly"
one more time...

Christmas is sparkling
out on Carol's lawn.
This girl of my childhood games,
with kids nearly grown and gone!
Grown so fast,
like the turn of a page.
We look like our mothers did now
when we were those kids' age.
Nothing lasts for long.
Nothing lasts for long.
Nothing lasts for long....

Down at the Chinese Cafe
we'd be dreaming on our dimes.
We'd be playing
"Oh my love, my darling
I've hungered for your touch
a long lonely time.
And time goes by so slowly,
and time can do so much.
Are you still mine?
I need your love.
I need your love.
God speed your love to me".....

11. I think the spirtuality of taking care of this planet is one the greatest
things that the rest of world has held us in awe at one time.

Our love of the land not this nation we held above corporate land grabs
that we raped the native culture who taught this nation so much.

great song.

14. Some Ian Anderson To Ponder...
When I was young and they packed me off to school
and taught me how not to play the game,
I didn't mind if they groomed me for success,
or if they said that I was a fool.
So I left there in the morning
with their God tucked underneath my arm --
their half-assed smiles and the book of rules.
So I asked this God a question
and by way of firm reply,
He said -- I'm not the kind you have to wind up on Sundays.
So to my old headmaster (and to anyone who cares):
before I'm through I'd like to say my prayers --
I don't believe you:
you had the whole damn thing all wrong --
He's not the kind you have to wind up on Sundays.
Well you can excomunicate me on my way to Sunday school
and have all the bishops harmonize these lines --
how do you dare tell me that I'm my Father's son
when that was just an accident of Birth.
I'd rather look around me -- compose a better song
`cos that's the honest measure of my worth.
In your pomp and all your glory you're a poorer man than me,
as you lick the boots of death born out of fear.
I don't believe you:
you had the whole damn thing all wrong --
He's not the kind you have to wind up on Sundays.

Cheers...
