Denver - A 74-year-old former foster parent who briefly served as an Episcopalian priest was sentenced to 210 years in prison today after he was convicted of sexually assaulting boys as young as six years old.

Donald Shissler was found guilty on Friday of 15 counts including sexual assault on a child and sexual exploitation of a child. He was accused of assaulting three boys between 1997 and 2002.

Denver District Judge Martin Egelhoff called the case the worst of its kind he had ever seen and said Shissler still did not think he had done anything wrong.

Shissler was an Episcopal priest for two years, last serving in Aspen in 1963. The Episcopal Diocese of Colorado has said no allegations of sexual misconduct were made against him during his time in the clergy.
