Is America AFRAID of it's own elected officials? |
|
Edited on Tue Jul-17-07 09:34 AM by Philosoraptor
How pathetic is a nation that is afraid of dick and dubya and their merry band of fuckups? Are you? If not, why not? I ask this question because America acts like an abused wife who thinks if she just tries harder she'll be treated better.
Are we afraid of these stupid fucks?

I'm afraid of what they are doing, but that is a different thing than being afraid of them.

they get killed by the CIA or other thugs or are marginalized by the corporate media so that it is very difficult to get moving. Just imagine when Al Gore finally gets into the race. The media will moan "has been" "stiff" etc. and watch how many of us here at DU will jump on the band wagon and start to dis Gore. He can lead us out of this mess if we let him. We have to become the change we want to see. Ignore the old white men trying to hang onto a sinking raft. If we were true to our selfs we would all be screaming for Kucinich right now.

5. Pathetic indeed but the merry band of fuckups is skillfully implementing the |
|
neocon PNAC wet dream and thereby bringing us a corporatist totalitarian dictatorship and theocracy featuring endless war while America collectively watches with its finger stuck up its figurative asshole.

6. Not The ELECTED Ones. The Usurpers Scare The Hell Out Of Me |
|
Bush** and Cheney scare me because they are not answerable to us. We did not elect them — they stole the offices they occupy, and I don't think they have any intention of leaving, ever.
