18. Wilson is a true patriot. I read that section of his book where he went

through hell to protect those Americans and puthimself on the line with Saddam. He had the guts to do that, saved people's lives and got a commendation from President HW Bush. Limbaugh would have snuck out of the country in a burka, leaving the Americans behind with no protection.

Now I'm good and mad all over again. People at DU who don't like this recent action of Joe's should try to put all of this in perspective on the guy. His book, btw, is terrific. It's called "The Politics of Truth." Great read!

They risked their necks to protect all of us from "real world" dangers which
is wildly different from W's unneeded war and half ass fight against al Qaeda/Taliban
in Afghanistan.

Think about it for a second we now have Taliban units blocking roads and controlling
large sections of Afghanistan, a conflict we were thrust into after 9/11 but we bogged
down in the living hell of Iraq. A war which Mr. Wilson tried to warn us about.

If Rush ever broadcasted the truth his listeners would be dumbstruck.
