Perspective. Over 500,000 people die of cancer a year. Terrorism
deaths come no where near this number.

Yet this administration keeps trying to make everyone fear terrorism.

Yes, terrorism needs to be addressed, but not through a senseless war.

I am more concerned over dieing from a car accident or cancer than a stray terrorist action.

Does the general population really buy this terrorism fear sht?

2. Metaphor for America
Sometimes I think of cancer as a disease of too much...
and that it represents America.

Car accidents are indeed the greatest threat that I am aware of, to me. I have to drive in the shit twice a day.

5. and when they divert the reserves & Guard to Iraq for bogus war
lots of law enforcement and first responders are pulled from the roads near you and sent to far away shores.

It's a double whammy. They pull people off important safety work here to send them over there to create more pissed off people which will swell the ranks of jhadist groups for generations to come.

Making us MUCH less safe now & in the future. Oh, and we are broke too. Our debt is owned by foreign nations and we are losing our infrastructure.

NOT SAFER

6. Terrorism is contageous, doncha know
One really sick terrorist can spread his disease to everyone around him. Cancer, well.... Cancer is either the result of voluntary lifestyle choices (such as lung cancer brought on by smoking, cervical cancer brought on by HPV, which is the result of choice in sexual activity, etc.) or the unfortunate collateral damage of GOP donors working to achieve the American Dream. Nothing at all like terrorism.

Do I really need to add :sarcasm: ?

8. Well, they've been screaming "wolf" so often with this, no one will listen
And even if they make one happen, so many people will be able to connect the dots
to it being a false flag operation, it will only further inflame the population.

That said, I think one of the madministration's primary objectives is making the US
look as bad as possible (one they are doing quite well, I must say), so it may well
be they don't give a damn what the US people think.
