My co-worker's fiance works at BUR and it seems someone got past security. They are evacuating the airport.

Burbank Airport Evacuated after Security Breach
July 17, 2007, 9:36 AM PDT

Authorities are investigating a security breach at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank Tuesday morning, which led to the evacuation of Terminal A.

The breach apparently was caused when a person entered a security area, apparently inadvertently, without being screened, authorities said.

The person was being interviewed and about 200 passengers were being rescreened at the security entrance because of the incident, which began about 8:10 a.m., said airport spokesman Victor Gill.

6. Burbank is a TEENY WEENY airport (especially compared to LAX)
so it's really easy and nice to fly in and out of, lol. Evacuating it and rescreening probably just took a few minutes......

14. I wish...
Lets just say if they say this was my father I would not be surprised in the least. We ahve all been expecting something like this for along time. If it is not this time it will be another.

he has been detained many times in airports. He has been thrown of planes cuz he flips out. The thing is he flies all the time. And to this ariport.

16. They have been evacuating airports every since ...
the incident in Britain occurred the other week,. Bushco is calling out all of the stops to convince us that he is fighting a war on terror. Sorry, I have seen this scene replayed over and over for the past five years, in one way or the other and once the polls change he will strut his ass out with that arrogant smirk to tell us that the Decider is back on top. Don't forget that he also does a speech on every issue under the sun to remind his fading base why they voted for him and believed all of his lies.
