I know Iraq is important but what about everything else?
Things are getting worse jobs going overseas so we are working harder for less money least I am. People losing their homes or trying really hard to keep them. Health care is just not affordable anymore. College for my kids forget it I am just paying my bills. What about all thats happening to the average family? What's about going to happen to our men and women when they come home? What will they have to look forward to?

1. What you said, Maggie
My sentiments exactly. What about the national debt and trade deficits? What about the widening income gap? Social Security? Campaign finance reform? Global warming? The Fairness Doctrine? Human rights?

2. Everything else is in same shit storm.
And the eye of the storm is what Bush has done in Iraq, jeopardizing America's economic future and global security.

We'd have money to get your kid through college and money to change health care if he weren't wasting billions each day in Iraq.

4.  I think about the same things constantly
Everything seems to be connected including this occupation of Iraq to destroy this country in every way possible . Oh sure , the wealthy will be fine but they are a small section of the population .

I wonder what people do when they lose their homes and their credit is shot , how do they get another place to live without credit , this is just one small part of the overall problem .

It seems to me we are many years from a solution and many more will fall by the way side well before and if things do turn around for the better .
