John McCain ... the human meadow muffin |
|
This guy needs a pasture and fast. He needs an open field in which he can retire to and still consider himself as outstanding there.
He is droning on and on and on about things that have passed him by. Modern warfare is not his area of expertise. He should be talking historically and not in terms of future events at all.
McCain ... I'm giving you a clue, right here and for free.
Go Home. You have over stayed your welcome. Your money people know it, your campaign staff know it, hell, your wife probably already knows it and just can't bring herself to tell you. I'll tell you though. You are a "were" not and "is" in terms of your influence and your relevance. Enough. Stop embarrassing yourself. Even an animal will cull itself from the herd when it is no longer a player in the community. It will crawl away with dignity to live out it's final days alone ... to reminisce about the days when it was the sharpest tooth on the Savannah. Wave buh bye and move along. You are no longer anything to be seen ... the rubberneckers have moved on. Shake off the dust of that little town and get out of Dodge, dude, while you still can remember what about you made you special ... and while no one is using that openly against you ... (ok, maybe it's too late or that) ...
Anyone else have a clue they would like to share with someone who could really use it? Go ahead, help them out right here in this thread.

5. His father & grandfather must be spinning like tops in their graves... |
|
...both, honorable men, FOUGHT against Imperialism and Fascism in WW2, and their boy happily hitches his wagon to a rogue US government that is BOTH imperialistic and (neo)Fascist, without thought to what their actions are doing to our fighting men and women.
Great rant, Sydnie!:hi: K&R:patriot:

6. The "Meadow Muffin Blues" |
|
Meadow Muffin Blues by Kevin Morland I've got the meadow muffin blues, on the bottom of my shoes, can't seem to shake it, got to take it home and scrape it, I got the meadow muffin blues. While I was walkin' through a field one day, stop to say good day a cow dropped her dinner and I'm standing in'er she quickly smiled and walked away. Repeat Chorus: Now a cows sense of humor is kind of bent and the stuff is sticken like cement it started raining and my legs are really straining so I kicked off my shoes and away I went Repeat Chorus:
You've herd of the dangers in the woods in the city its the hippies in the hoods when your walking through a pasture you better walk a little faster or your shoes are going to pick up all the goods Repeat Chorus:

7. McCain, who once was a strong MAN, has become a pitiful human being. |
|
To me this has been very sad. We have watched the bush admin break McCain and Powell. It makes me wonder how and why they have felt the need to completely break these two men apart. But break them they did. I would love to know the story behind these two men. What convinced these men to commit political suicide. These men committed thier lives to the bush admin. And the admin left them twisting in the wind.

in Powell's' case, they kept him like a mushroom, only telling him what they wanted him to know? I think the break started when he stopped taking their bull for gospel. Once they don't own you anymore, you are just like the dance band on the Titanic .. clearly expendable yet entertaining to the top draw customers.
McCain still believes they will deliver on their promises of support and what ever else they have promised him. He doesn't see that he is shackled to their legacy yet.
