Gawd I hate Republicans, at least the elected ones. .... I'm watching this Kit Bond character on CSPAN2 (the Senate Pajama party) AGAIN conflate Al-Qaeda, 9/11 and the Iraq War. They'll never get tired of adding to that manure pile.
:argh:

2. I'm watching him, too.
I love it...."they're willing to wait", referring to the troops. Like they have a choice.
And oooohhhhh, now I'm scared. He just said Al-Qaeda is listening.
Blah, blah, blah

3. "He just said Al-Qaeda is listening"
I know. Al Qaeda has Comcast Digital and they're watching the "retreat and defeat" crowd..... What a buffalo's ass he is!

12. And they'll follow us home....
I'm so sick of this. They're not dogs.
Also, have you noticed that no one can seem to get how long this surge has been taking place? Bond just said about a month. I think it was McCain who said, it's only been two weeks. I've not heard anyone say that the first "surge" troops were in place in February.
Finally...he's done. He was really making me feel insulted.

4. I hope a Dem gets up there and talks down about those who still don't understand
that 9/11, Iraq, and Al-Qaeda don't mix. Remove Iraq from the computation, and yes, you have something, but the thing that doesn't belong is Iraq. Iraq had NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11.

I really do wish the Dems would just flat out say that statements like that are lies, and should not be tolerated any longer, it's a disservice to the stupid Americans who still believe there's a connection.

Actually, I'm off to call Bond's office now...what an idiot...

..."Cut & Run" in this debate.....how sad is that?

9. LOL! Wrong--Hagel warned his GOP colleagues that "cut and run"
was meaningless sloganeering and they should define it if they use it, and then the very next speaker was Kay Bailey Hutchinson--and what were some of the first words out of her mouth? CUT AND RUN! That's all they have left as an argument now.

6. I CAN'T STAND REPUBLICANS!!
I'm trying to weed them out of my life as much as possible.

They are mostly HYPOCRITES, and if they all died, I wouldn't lose a whole lot of sleep over it.

7. Not exactly the lives and souls of the party they think they are, to be sure.

Hate them?

Only the REALLY evil ones. God knows there are enough of them.

Time to get rid of them.

10. He's reading it word for word from a script.
And every time he looks up from the pages, he stammers and has to put a finger on the script!
Methinks his train of though doesn't run very deep.
He was quite flustered and distracted when a number of people headed for the exit (behind him).
Who wrote his script?

15. Bond is a dirty old drunk
That's why he can't focus, why he can't speak without a text, why his face is always red and flushed.

All the Republicans are following a script - and they're all lies. Shameless lies.

14. I know many Republicans that hate what has happened to thier party.
These are basically older folks that liked Ike, Boomers that liked Goldwater, and folks in thier 30s and 20s that call themselves Libertarians. Unlike the wackos who took over the Republican Party in the 80s these people can make arguments that, even if I disagree with them, I still find logical and well reasoned.

18. If one would research history ....Republicans have always been this way
That's going back nearly 80 years..They have never really had a platform and are not rational at all...They will use any issue (knowing they're wrong) and try and turn that naive thinking into a positive for them and it doesn't work but yet their base believe this BS..Ever tried to argue with one..As far as running on any particular issue they can't..They just revert to negative BS.And its gotten about 300% worse with this current group of Repuke congressmen and Senators..Its the Karl Rove way........

19. Why ever not? Bashing repuke ideas is good!
It is hard to believe they are still on that cut and run crap, as if how we "look" and if we look tough enough trumps all the death and destruction that happens if we stay there forever trying to "win."
