John McLaughlin -- Impeachment Monger !?!
You could have knocked Arianna over with a feather. But here's what he said to "The Group" on Sunday:
McLaughlin: Question. The bush administration's political censorship allegations have focussed on EPA reports, on scientific global warnming reports, on the poltiically motivated firings of the US attorneys, and now on the politicization of public health issues.

Do any of these constitute, separately or together, an impeachable offense?

Sure, wacky. But a Freudian slip of some kind?

2. I don't know if its a slip or not but if McLaughlin mentioned it ...
it may be on the way to the big board. Yee Ha!
I'm sorry I missed it. Were Pat and Tony on board?

3. I don't recall what was said
But Tony was angrily dismissive and Pat just pretended he didn't hear it and called the former Surgeon General a whiner.

Arianna said yes, but then added that it was more important for Dems to "end the war" (as though that were possible without impeachment).

5. Well, right like a stopped clock maybe
With charges of torture/war crimes, illegal spying, terrorizing the nation into war, etc..., these are the things that lead him to suggest impeachment?

I've gotta think he's more like a former Nazi. Who still can't comprehend the big deal about a few crimes against humanity. But as the Ultimate Beltway Baron, any fooling with the "scripture" that are government reports -- that gets his claws out.
