So the repukes want to wait until Sept...
Then there's this:

Sens. John Warner of Virginia and Richard Lugar of Indiana, two senior Republicans with long experience in military and foreign policy, last week proposed legislation to require Bush to submit a new strategy by Oct. 16.

With each passing 'let's wait and see' attitude by the repukes, they'll set it for later and later. Next it'll be Christmas, then it'll be after the new year, then the spring and so on and so on.

The repukes don't give a shit about stopping the war.
