As of tonight, the worm has turned, the tipping point

I just popped a bottle of wine.. only because I didnt have any champagne and got lucky and found a bottle of white wine left over from a wedding.

I think tonight we have finally reached the tipping point.

And before even starting, I would like to point out that Bushco and their shills have been running around the last week yelling Al Queda, Al Queda, terra terra terra.. hell they even trotted out an OSB video.

Now I understand why the GOP fought tooth and nail against even a non-binding resolution.. the whole thing for them is holding by a thread, and they know if they give an inch then the whole house of cards is going to come down.

Actually, I think that could be said for the entire Republican party and all their policies.. in just 6 months of Dem control.. all the corruption, the failures, the cronyism.. is all coming to light.

The momentum has been building for some time now, and I think (finally!) the Dems are sensing that the house of cards can indeed be blown over.

This call of the bluff will embolden all Dems to show that they can get the job done.

Among many things, there is still a showdown with Bush defiantly thumbing his nose at the law in the subpoena cases.

I think the Dems have figured out that calling their bluff will work.

Tonight is a watershed..

If big Dick and little Georgie wants a fight.. Bring it on!!!

Here is a toast to all who support restoring democracy and the rule of law to the United States of America!

I've heard it too many times... Bushco keeps on keeping on..

Enjoy your celebration, but I won't believe it, until I see it.

perhaps our reps are growing a backbone and soon we will see impeachment back on the table (keep the pressure up, for that with the house)

8. Agreed. And for those yelling the Dems don't do anything...
they are fighting 6 years of recklessness, and they are doing it by the book. And FINALLY Reid forced their hand. I was getting really angry myself but looks like they finally reached the end of their rope and are going to fight back full force.

I would bet the Harriet Miers no show really did it. That is just the most in your face defiance, I think it was the final straw.

10. Its the beginning, that much is for sure.
The sure thing is that the house of cards will tumble, but man, that's one big house of cards! It could take awhile.

13. I'm betting Larry Flynt's expose will make a few waves too.
I'm beginning to see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

15. Thats the snowball effect

Yes it'll be interesting what Flynt has.

But there are so many things going on now.. if he has alot of info that will be like throwing gas on the fire.

So 'wave' is right...

Thats when it turns into a tidal wave of momentum against all the corruption

This is just another step, but we're getting there. And we'll get there.

17. the Dems are losing control of the media which means
that an inevitable dem scandal will see 24/7 converage when it happens. the people will not hear repug scandals (many) only the dem ones (few).
