Unofficial, handy dandy, DU media guide to the best and the boneheaded; 7/18/07.
It's fairly well-known that some of that damn librul media reads this board looking for the best of the best and the worst of the worst, but that's a pretty daunting task considering that this board is smart, very fast, and therefore there's often duplicate threads and simultaneous posts on the same subject within seconds. So, as in our threads on Congressional goings on, I propose a running thread as a one-stop shop for the best and worst out of DC and political points beyond.

No rules beyond the standard DU rules, just please indicate that you are quoting as per usual.

I'll begin by copying marmar's post regarding Lindsay Graham's remarks:

"They feel compelled by God to eliminate all moderates who don't share their view."
Lindsey Graham just said that in the Senate debate, talking about Al-Qaeda. I guess he can't see the irony in that statement.

1. Aw, shucks--the Senate should be ripe for the worst, so a shameless kick.
Geez, McCain is up now...

3. Condi: "I'm a terrible long term planner."
Would you consider a position in business or on Wall Street?
I don't know what I'll do long-term. I'm a terrible long-term planner. I was supposed to be a music major and concert pianist, and here I sit. I love serving on corporate boards, and I find American business and our corporations to be the engines of innovation for this country and, therefore, an engine of innovation for the world. One thing I've tried to do is to institutionalize the public-private partnership. The government can't do it all. When you talk about winning hearts and minds around the world, we are but a small part of what most of the world encounters about America.
