Something that made me feel better today:

I live in Bakersfield, CA. Kern County. Pretty red country this is.

In my car this morning a lady pulled up to me at the light and yelled out to me: "I love your bumper stickers!" They read: "Nobody Died when Clinton Lied" and "I can't wait until 2008".

She had some stickers too I caught briefly as she pulled away, one was about never ending war and bush.

Even in this rethug hell hole there is resistance.

Seems to me a disproportionate number of CA Iraq casualties have been from Bakersfield.

A shame people have to die before their relatives, friends and neighbors get the message.
