How would Impeachment impact the Campaigns of those Running for President?
If Nancy Pelosi put Impeachment back on the table, how would that effect Guilliani, McCain, Thompson, and Romney? What would they do in reaction to it? Would any of the candidates benefit from it, and if so, which ones?

2. Those men are not running for President, they are running for their Party's nomination
And not one of them stands a chance against any Democrat.

5. It would force candidates
to take a stand on it -- yer either fer it or agin it

considering bush/cheney approval numbers, I'm betting more people would be fer impeachin' - and this would put the republic candidates in a tight spot

that being said - Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama have already said they weren't in favor of impeachment, so impeaching would put them in a tight spot...

most likely - the republics would drink kool-aid and call impeachment political theater

Clinton and Obama would need to find some way to flip-flop without appearing to flip-flop

6. I don't know about Clinton and Obama taking a hit
Most of the people who are mad at them for not impeaching aren't going to move in their camp- and the ones who do support them will probably justify the change by saying that new evidence has come forward or the pattern of Bush abuse has worsened.

7. Democratic candidates supporting it would get a BIG boost.
Impeachment, whether or not Bush and Cheney ultimately resign or are removed, would earn the Democratic Party the "strength" points it so desperately needs. The entire party will benefit if the leadership takes up the fight to impeach. Candidates who oppose the leadership's fight to impeach will pay a VERY high price. Those who support it would benefit.
