He said that before Vitter's name came out, of course. Has Brian Ross had ANYTHING to say on this matter since he assured us all that we should move along? Shouldn't he be fired?

1. Maybe Brian Ross is right
Maybe his name is on it -- I can't think of too many media people that qualify as "no one important" more than Brian

4. Brian Ross is with ABC...
ABC originally had the "DC Madam's list" story but chose to sit on it and not report it.

I don't think either Ross or ABC can be called a "reliable source."

18. More than just sitting on it- he actively came out and argued that
we should all just move along, there's nothing to see here, etc.

5. I have no doubt
the NSA had deciphered that list, and assuming it would never see public light, gave the appropriate instructions to their mouthpieces.

And maybe his name is on it and he just wanted it to go away.

15. I trade all of them for LIEberman's name to be on the list...
Well...okay...don't take Hutchinson, Coburn or Inhofe off the list.

I wouldn't mind seeing mitt 'the sh*t' romney and ghooliani on the list.

22. speaking as a south carolinian,
lindsey graham is log cabin. i think.

he certainly seems gayish. well, he's a drama queen for sure.

not to say all gays are drama queens. or that all drama queens are gay.

anyhow, i think i remember something about graham's name coming up wrt homosexual pornography on a govt. terminal.

but my mind wasn't focused on politix then. as you can see, i'm only a wee bit sharper now. age & wisdom type thing...

frankly, i'm surprised that s carolinians would have put up with that in a candidate, these folk are amazingly narrow minded, mostly, somewhat...

best regards

8. Different list.
Flynt is talking about 30 names culled from tips that he solicited. Ross was talking about the list of phone numbers from the "DC madam." And in fairness, I think that ABC had records of people who'd called within a particular date range, and Vitter's calls were from earlier.

I was under the impression that Flynt was just corroborating info from the Madame's list. I guess I got the process backward here- thanks for the info. :D

12. Even though Brian Ross is in the media
He is bought and paid for. He is a useless hack at this point, keeping the seat warm until someone with serious credential and a spine shows up.
