Maybe it might just be some kind of fun to see Senator Webb drop his hat into
the horse race (presidential election)?

Right now the candidate catching most of my attention is Ron Paul. I like what we get to hear every morning on C-Span. I do not like what I see happeninging with the Dems. It is shaping up to be Obama, Clinton, Edwards and..oh yeah, that guy from New Mexico..........

Have you read up on very many of his positions? How long have you been following his career? Kucinich and Gravel are closet to him in their positions. Ron P. is a Libetarian though in his views, and became a Republican to get to DC. I could always be wrong though, truly I just believe he is one of the best patriots we have running. Check him out.

17. as opposed to progressive. as far as i know,
his anti-war stance is the only non-repug stance he has. he is anti-choice and anti-entitlement and would get rid of medicare and social security.

9. Hey Proud2Blib, if you have not checked out Ron Paul and his positions,
Edited on Wed Jul-18-07 10:21 PM by Decruiter
why would you ever love to see him get the "nomination". Informed voter wise, anyway?

wtf? "Not a Fan, but I would love to see him get the nomination." Why, Proud2Blib, tell me why you could possibly make a remark such as that? Informed as you are......................

on edit, you have checked out his positions. What are the ones you oppose and are there any you support?

15. I agree with Ron Paul on the war.
But that's about it. And once the war is over there are so many other things I support that Ron Paul does not. I am a dyed in the wool social liberal. I believe in welfare and govt provided health care and social security and every other social program we can squeeze from our tax dollars. I believe it is the role of the government to take care of its people. I want a bare minimum spent on our military and I also want open borders and amnesty. So there really aren't many issues Ron Paul and I agree on.

I would love to see him get the nomination because I don't think he can win. And I will be supporting the Democratic candidate. :)

13. I could see a Hagel-Webb pairing come up as a nightmare scenario for both parties.
Neither one are down the line party players.

14. I see more fun, can we not all get really creative, yet? I like Webb-Hagel, okay..?
We have to throw ourselves upon the gears, "Mario Salvo".

We have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

Peace.

16. Hagel is a Republican party player through and through
And may still own ES&S, the voting machine company that got him elected to the Senate in the first place.

Hagel will be the Republican nominee, mark my words. We should all be deathly afraid of him.
