Arlene Violet being yanked off the air in Rhode Island, replaced by Sean Hannity!

No matter what someone might think of Violet, this is not a good trend.

In addition to going from leftish to hard right, there is the shifting from a local broadcast to a national one.

Not good.

My old boss listened to Rush just to piss me off,but even when I hear Randi or something it just grates on my nerves.By their very nature talk radio hosts have to gab and gab and gab and then gab some more.Take a fucking breath already! :)

I thought it was 4-6 months ago but here it says it happened in December.

Quite a Christmas gift for a former nun.

They also replaced Geoff Charles with O'Reilly and gave Charles a Saturday night show.

He might have wanted that though because 6 hours on the air (three on HJY) 5 days a week might have been a bit much.

He is totally irreverant and a real character.

Did a brief on the air stint at HJY years ago so sorta know him.
