23. That interview just pissed me off even more.

Especially the closing- when the caller asked whether Mr. Hartman believed the American people would allow the Constitution to swept away, along with their rights, and Thom said "they've already done it!". He asked where all the people are that should be protesting this stuff, and he's RIGHT.

What's happened to this country? It seems to be full of apathetic cowards and couch potatoes who care about nothing but TV and Cheetos. I've been protesting this crap since about 5 months after 9-11, I volunteer for populist political campaigns, the whole thing. Do you know what my friends said to me when I brought up Bush's recent assertion that he has the power to confiscate the funds of anyone he deems to be undermining his Iraq fantasy? "I don't even like to think about that stuff", they said. "I don't want to know about it".

If they're at all representative of the rest of this nation, I don't know what to say. These people don't even care.
