Hey generals - SHUT THE FUCK UP - you had your chance |
|
All I hear from the rethugs is that we need to "listen to the generals". Fuck that. They had their chance, and they blew it. Why should we continue listening to a bunch of incompetent fools who couldn't draw up a winning strategy for a flag football game? These are the same fucking idiots who are either giving direct orders to murder, rape, and pillage the Iraqi people, or they are completely blind to what's going on under their command. These are the same geniuses whose idea of strategy is "give us more time and troops". They've been stringing us along this entire time, knowing DAMNED WELL that there is no chance of success in Iraq. They are lying when they claim that they are making progress, it is simply a stalling tactic to continue dragging the war out.
Enough. They've had plenty of time, and they had plenty of troops. They've managed to get over 3500 US soldiers KILLED, and many tens of thousands more wounded. These generals are presiding over the worst war crimes and atrocities since World War II, the wholesale MURDER of innocent Iraqi men, women, and children whose only crime was that they looked like Al-Kaida. Bring them home NOW, and put these murderous generals on trial for their war crimes!

to the like of General Shalikashvili who said we needed more troop to secure Iraq than to invade. And who was overridden by Rummy.
The problem is Rummy, Cheney and Rice never listened to the generals. It's Bush's civilian leadership which sucks!
And yes....the good generals are retiring.

5. Too many of todays generals only care about their careers |
|
and allow themselves to be lead on a leash by their incompetent civilian bosses. Any senior general that put up with Rumsfeld's BS was nothing but a yes man who was only out to protect their careers and/or move up in rank. Colin Powell was so use to being a yes man that he couldn't shake the habit even after becoming a cabinet secretary.

7. Civilian leadership is to blame, no matter how BushCo tries to pin his failures on the military-- |
|
Generals don't SET policy, they implement it. The policies were flawed to start with.
