Reposted--just for Fun "Super Villains at large."
While it's not precisely illegal to attempt to take over the world, the average super-villain knows that the methods one might take to accomplish this are most assuredly criminal. But, thankfully, a super-villian such as Kommander Krazy and his black-hearted mentor, The Grimace, don't worry so much about violating such petty laws that obviously don't apply to the likes of THEM.

As super-villains go, they don't look like much. KK's down-home vocalizations and talent for posing for photo-ops have to take a backseat to his family's money and the mechanizations of lesser, possibly more talented, lackeys.

Thank God for lackeys and minions.

The Grimace, on the other hand, has truly frightening powers. He can shoot a Republican lawyer in the face with impunity, verbally lash out at Congressional Democrats, using language that would get anyone else in trouble, and conduct secret meetings with high-powered energy execs without once drawing criticism from the corporate media.

Together they have shown the astounding ability to ignore grave threats, have those threats actually visited upon the United States due to their inattention, and yet somehow be seen as the nation's saviors for their failing. They have managed to out a covert CIA operative with no serious reprisal from anyone.

Not only that, but they've been able to make harmless countries seem like the enemy, and launch two wars that have brought the United States to its knees. Not something just any villains could manage, to be sure.

Their enemies, the would-be heroes who'd confront them, have been systematically and roundly defeated, at least in public. What blows they've been able to land in private cannot be estimated, though Kommander Krazy certainly has worn his share of bruises.

We can only guess at the identities of all the heroes that have dared to confront this dangerous duo and managed to leave a mark. Some have stepped up, to be sure, but they have fallen entirely too many times to count. Few have tried twice. The last several years have been littered with the reputations of the fallen.

Al Gore fell to this dastardly duo in 2000, only to rise again and reinvent himself as the Earth Defender. Though strong and capable, he has turned his attention to easier tasks, like stopping Global Warming.

John Kerry, War Hero, was reduced to a pile of quivering jello after their confrontation in 2004. This defeat, however, was as much at the hands of their "swiftboat" minion squad as any direct assault by Krazy and the Grimace. He made the mistake of ignoring their attacks until they'd bled him nearly dry from a thousand tiny wounds.

Cindy Sheehan confronted Kommander Krazy, but he refused to fight her, disappearing instead into his hideout until he could escape her completely. But his minions turned out to do battle with her and she was wounded again and again until, maddened, she turned on her allies for doing almost nothing to either defend her or confront the villains directly.

Not everyone has the ability to confront villains on the level of Krazy and The Grimace, not to mention their veritable army of lackeys. But every so often a would-be hero takes on and defeats one unit or another of the minion army, and weakens the duo for a time.

At this rate it seems like the only real enemy they have to worry about is Father Time. To all others, they seem invincible.

Or do they?
