"Harry Potter would have been stoned to death"
Just saw that movie clip from Jesus Camp where that polysacrous Pentecostal who runs the camp uttered that statement in front of all those impressionable kids, warping their fragile little minds.

derby378 --> <-- Jesus Camp Potter-hater

2. warping them how? is this not historical fact?
witches were burned alive or stoned or hanged or drowned or pressed -- millions of them to my understanding of the thing

now if he was suggesting it was a GOOD thing to kill someone who had an exceptional talent, okay, but if he was just stating a historical fact? :shrug:

6. "Yeah, well, you're just lucky you aren't trying to stone Raven."
As long as we're discussing fictional characters, that is. I'd pit my Raven against any number of fundy jackasses.

They wouldn't know what hit 'em.

Raven's a double-jeopardy, being a mage AND a vampire.

Plus he's not a big fan of the Church in general.

In Sword and Shadow, it's a different kind of church, but it shares a few traits with what WE'D consider "The Church."

7. According to that reasoning David would have hit bush with a rock
with the type of actions he has taken, starting wars with innocent people, letting Katrina victims drown. Cutting support for children and the poor. What do you think Jesus would have done. He divided the fish and the bread so He could feed people. Do you think he would sanction bush's actions? Heck no. And he would have kicked that fat ass spewer in the butt.

8. No he wouldn't.
He'd just turn the rocks into wasps or something - and have 'em sting THEM.

Child abuse, if you ask me - teaching Muggle kids they can go up against a wizard. They'd be lucky Harry's too nice for the AK.

10. I would have said, "Like the girl from the Bible who was caught in adultery"?
What was it Jesus said then hmmmmm, oh yeah it was "let he who is without sin, cast the first stone"!
