How they'll "win" the next election |
|
I would almost put money on "terraists" attacking a few polling places, and our benevolent unitary executive shutting them down for a couple of days.
When the smoke clears they'll hold the elections again after sufficient time for the Ministry of Information to drill into us that "we wont let them take our freedom... Guiliani is the great charismatic protector of democracy... blah blah blah Paris Hilton blah blah"
Whamo win for the Corrupticons, and a new "mandate" for the march of facism.

I would have laughed in my face and spouted something like "Conspiracies are over complicated explanations that assume inherent evil and self interest over altruism and accountability. I'll give you self interest.. but..."
But since then a lot has happened to change my views :(
Thanks for the welcome :D

with most of your military forces bogged down in wars overseas would be an idiotic thing to try, but then again Bush is breath taking in his ineptitude.

Attempting to foment hysteria is always the best way to deal with a problem. Actually, it's the Republican way. Thank you for your Republican approach to Republican propaganda aimed at keeping us fearful.
And look! Here you are trying to make us afraid for our lives if we approach a polling place. Well, isn't that special.
Aren't you just the sweetest thing.
on edit: BTW, the next election is local.

6. Thanks for the voice of reason, aquart. |

I figure if they do something, they're going to have a big happening in a LIBERAL city like Seattle or San Francisco or Boston.
Then they can point to those areas and say, "See? Libruls can't keep you safe!" Then they'll begin taking over state and local governments with more cronies.

8. With The Media We Have They Wouldn't Even Have To Stage The Attacks |
|
Just announce them on the TV along with suitable action footage. Make up the names of a couple of towns in rural areas. Nobody will ever know because there will be no news to tell them its all fake.
