"Underestimate Bush* at your own Peril" Bill Clinton
Clinton said these words in 2001. He is considered a very brilliant man but who followed his advice?

1. I don't remember him saying that, but boy was he RIGHT!
I know I underestimated him and what he was actually capable of doing. Of course, I also NEVER expected to see such a rubber stamp Congress either!

2. Gee, Bill must have known just how long Poppy & Jr.
have been planning this fiasco. The first step was getting daddy elected. Once that happened, the cogs started turning the wheels of dictatorship.

4. If he knew this why was he globe trotting all over the
place with Poppy?

6. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer?
That's the second time in two days I've posted those words with regard to this particular regime. I wonder how many others on "our" side find it necessary to follow that axiom?

7. If you remember it was for humanitarian reasons
Should he not lend his incredible popularity to such good causes?

11. Do you think the Shrub LIKES Clinton being associated with
his father? No way. He's such a narcissist, I'm sure he hates it.

3. I live in Texas where Bush was governor.
To be honest, I also had no idea as to how bad he could really be. He was a mediocre governor, did little harm and very little good. I am not saying I was fooled, I just did not know that he could be influenced so much by Rove and Cheney.

5. With your post you made my point
You think it is Rove and Cheney that make all the decisions. Bush* is just along for the ride...Listen to what Clinton said and try and figure why such a brilliant man would make such a statement..

8. It's Impossible to UNDERestimate Bush
He was dragged along by the republican power brokers. He didn't scheme his way into the white house his party wanted him all along. Does anyone else remember how his was the first name brought up by all GOPeople during the long run-up to the '00 election?

The guy just has the right name...charter member of the lucky sperm club.

Now, Clinton...there's a guy that I underestimated. Remember his coma inducing speech at the '88 Democratic convention? I thought that guy was going nowhere.

I couldn't have been more wrong.

10. Spot on ...
He is a flat moron (albeit with underlying anti-social personality characteristics) ...

The PERFECT combination of not wanting the responsibility that goes with being president while having the ego to run around acting, in his childish way, like he is the president and getting off on it ... They knew that, they knew he had the name, the "education," the looks and the swarmy charm ...

If Clinton said this, it wasn't so much about Bush concretely ... It was about what was behind him ...
