1. How about 'betrayed the people of the US' rather than 'betrayed the true conservative movement'?

It seems more important to me that they have betrayed the entire people of the United States, not the conservative movement.

that's not my point however...

i don't expect them to tell the truth in any golbal sense, I want them to explain how the RW intellecutal-types alloweed this crowd to co-opt the Party and run "less government intrusion", "no deficit spending", etc.
